BrightLeaf is on a Roll!
BrightLeaf Homes started off 2019 with a hiring bang and they don't plan on slowing down anytime soon. They are always looking for better ways to live and grow, and building new ways to get there. Our Realty team has tripled this Winter.. Most recently by welcoming our newest movers and shakers, Heather Kinealy and Stephanie Mead to our team. We are also proud to announce our newest office impresario and number cruncher, Ashley Canada, to the family! And last for now, but absolutely not least is Lindsey Dyer - our Design Project Manager.
Here's a quick snapshot to get to know these humans a bit better.

What do you love most about Chicago? The people, the architecture, the lights.
Why? Growing up I always wanted to be an artist, but had a natural love for math and was exposed to construction. Design was the perfect marriage of those passions.
Interesting Facts About You: I worked on an episode of HGTV House Hunters Renovation. I've never been to the ocean. I love going to concerts or listening to live music - especially in Nashville!
Why BrightLeaf? I have been in the construction industry for many years and was excited to be a part of BrightLeaf's unique approach of thoughtful and responsible building.
Heather Kinealy, Real Estate Advisor
Favorite Band/Artist? Sade
What you love most about Chicago? The people
Why? I love real estate from pricing to decorating. I like to see people's excitement when they close on their new home. I feel honored when people choose me to be a part of their journey!
Interesting Facts About You: We have an adopted cat named McDreamy (the shelter gave him this name and I refused to change it, it's like changing a child's name!). I have 2 kids - a boy and a girl who are the best kids I could hope for. I have a charming husband who supports me (and my addiction to decorating) oh, and I travel like it's my part time job.
Why BrightLeaf? They think outside the box and I see around corners. Hoping to be a part of their amazing company making people happy with putting them in quality homes.
Ashley Canada, Office manager
Favorite Band/Artist? Country
What you love most about Chicago? Seasons and the proximity to the dunes and Lake Michigan beaches
Why? I had no intention of getting into ANY field that involved crunching numbers, I just happened to fall into it. But I enjoy the challenge of it and am always learning.
Interesting Facts About You: I LOVE working on projects - from house projects to refinishing furniture. I have two fabulous kids that keep me on my toes at all times and always keep me laughing. I love skiing, weightlifting, swimming/the beach, just being overall physically active. I have the best dog ever, Jax, who I very literally rescued off of Michigan Avenue in Chicago, with the assistance of a Chicago police officer. However, depending on who you ask, there is also a rumor floating around about Jax and how he came to live with us. That alternate story is that he was "stolen" and that the officer aided and abetted in that "theft". I'm sticking with "he was rescued".
Why BrightLeaf? The values and the culture are incredible and they truly challenge and push everyone on the team towards personal growth and development, knowing that it all directly impacts the company as a whole and what we will accomplish. I am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing team.
Stephanie Mead. CLient Acquisition Coordinator
Favorite Band/Artist? Tori Amos, Counting Crows, Gregory Alan Isakov... Sorry I can't stop.
What do you love most about Chicago? I've lived on the East and West coasts of the US and the super kind, real people in Chicago can't be beat.
Why? I was looking to find a career that melded my passion of environmental consciousness with the real estate market and BrightLeaf is absolutely perfect...
Interesting Facts About You: I climbed to the tippy top of Mount Rainier and hope to do it again someday... I'm almost vegan and find it incredibly relaxing to read my veg cookbooks. Oak Park is home and I rule over a household of three children and two kitties that think they're dogs.
Why BrightLeaf? They believe in doing the right thing and doing it the best. Everyone here is forward thinking, hard working, open minded and extremely talented...
