Dubbed the Ray of Sunshine. Doesn’t mind rolling up his sleeves.
“I’ve always liked working with my hands and putting things together.”
Alex grew up the youngest of his family and was very laid back and known as a people pleaser. As a kid Alex wanted to be a farmer but instead turned his talents towards building even before he had a driver’s license. In high school he began working with an architect drawing up plans during the winter and seeing those plans to fruition every summer wearing the hat of draftsman, project manager, and laborer. Alex got a taste of working on every aspect of projects for a living and making living spaces better. He was hooked.
After he graduated from high school, Alex recruited his brother, Rick, to join him. Eventually the two started their own construction company and set about doing what they knew and teaching themselves what they did not.
Alex is the finisher at BrightLeaf Homes. Once homes reach the building stage Alex takes over and heads for the finish line. You can find him on job sites taking photos, assessing deadlines, and keeping clients connected to their forever homes. And he does it all with a smile – that’s a guarantee.
Alex is married to his high school sweetheart - the two actually met at daycare as toddlers. It took a few decades for the sparks to fly and his wife married a project manager instead of the farmer he thought he’d be. Alex believes adventurous travel, going to the movies, and lifting weights are absolute musts and make him a better person.
