"The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."
For years, Ashley had no idea what she wanted to do when she "grew up". Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, she had no intentions of having a career involving numbers but ended up managing the finances for an internationally recognized management consulting firm for over 10 years. It wasn't something that she was passionate about but still hadn't found what that would be. The day she came across Brightleaf was the day that she felt that excitement and KNEW that this is what she wanted to be a part of.
Ashley has diverse professional experience in management, sales, client relations, communications, program development, financial management, event and meeting planning. She thrives under stressful conditions while maintaining a sense of humor to see tasks through to completion. She skillfully combines wit and perseverance in times of high pressure
Ashley is a mother of two fabulous kids (she might be a little biased) and when she's not helping to make the office run smoothly or crunching numbers at Brightleaf, you can find her enjoying the chaos of a house full of kids (only the two belongs to her...the rest, might as well belong to her)
She loves the outdoors, pushing herself physically–either at the gym or doing crazy events like the Rugged Maniac–and never sits still for long. She also participates in volunteer opportunities like, Feed My Starving Children, that she can do with her kids.
