Creative Misfit. Branding Madman. Maker of Things.
“We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution. -Bill Hicks”
Brandon serves as the point-person for developing, implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for the BrightLeaf brand.
As a bricklayer and foundation builder, he is focused on developing and designing all aspects of our brand. His purpose is to be a driving force in challenging others to think, see, and do different than what’s been done before.
This self-proclaimed “creative misfit” believes that to achieve success, you need to stand out, cut through the clutter, and break a few rules. Cause some trouble. Question everything. And bring a sort of controlled chaos to that which you choose to create or destroy.
More than anything, Brandon loves to make things. This hunger for creation is a driving force in all aspects of developing BrightLeaf’s brand. Whether it’s designing a marketing strategy, or evolving our identity or website, his passion for creating helps take it to the next level.
Being a “freak of nature”, Brandon finds inspiration in the details that surround us every day, but that rarely take the time to notice. In the cracks of the bark on the tree, the rocks on the trail, and the twinkling of the sun through a slit in the forest ceiling or even a pile of trash, he looks for the beauty in the filth.
Whether he’s concocting a new strategy or design at his desk or in his basement studio, he loves to create. Brandon is a designer, brander, marketer, and web designer, and an artist who experiments in many different forms of media. He uses ink, marker, acrylic, clay, photos, design, and poetry in an attempt to show the lighter side of the darkness of our world.
Fueled and inspired by those that challenge the status quo, Brandon is fanatic about Stephen King, hip-hop, stand-up comedy, and horror flicks. If they’re DIY and have done something different that really stands out, he’s probably consuming their content.
