Mathlete/Burrito Enthusiast. Crunching the numbers, keeping it real.
“Nothing's more satisfying than seeing a balance sheet in harmony”
Even as a kid, Lee was obsessed with numbers, and that fascination has only grown with age. He won countless math awards in junior high and high school and finished the highest level of Calculus his high school offered by his sophomore year. Lee knew that his future would involve numbers in some way and after strongly resisting outside influences to become an engineer, enrolled in accounting and finance in college. Now he enjoys mixing it up with BrightLeaf’s finances and bookkeeping whenever he has the chance.
Lee’s family is made up of computer programmers. He can’t program to save his life but there aren’t many out there that can light up an Excel spreadsheet like he can. As master of BrightLeaf’s finances, Lee keeps a shrewd eye on dollars in and dollars out and makes sure everyone gets paid for the blood, sweat, and tears that go into every project.
Lee works alongside Scott in the finance department where these two gents are notorious for always being the best dressed in the office. Their close working quarters lends itself to a wealth of idea sharing, as they are constantly looking to turn small advantages into significant gains for BrightLeaf, its clients, and partners.
When Lee isn’t at the office, you’ll surely find him at the volleyball court or on some beach keeping himself busy with – you guessed it – playing even more volleyball. Lee is also an avid lover of Chipotle and often shoots for a perfect work week (walking to Chipotle every day for lunch). While volleyball is his favorite pastime, his heart truly belongs to travel. He has been all over the world including Australia, Vancouver, Guatemala, and Alaska and has no intention of slowing down his wanderlust.
